Supply chain transparency

Every impression we sell can be traced to the site that owns it.

Akhuns Media declares itself as an intermediary. We publish the files, we maintain them, and we expect the buyers we work with to check them.

What we are, stated plainly.

We declare as an intermediary because that is what we are. We resell access to inventory we do not own, on behalf of publishers who do. Declaring as a publisher would be false and it would break the buyer’s ability to audit the chain.

Authorised digital sellers

How ads.txt works on our network.

Publishers authorise us

Every site we represent carries our authorised lines in its own ads.txt at the domain root. We supply the exact lines and we monitor them automatically. If a publisher’s file goes missing or drifts, the inventory is paused until it is corrected.

We authorise nobody we cannot name

We do not add reseller lines for partners we have not contracted with, and we do not accept requests to place lines on publisher files for third parties.

Chain integrity checks

Publisher ads.txt monitored
OWNERDOMAIN and MANAGERDOMAIN declared
schain complete on every request
Unauthorised lines removed on detection

A buyer should be able to reconstruct the full path from bid request to page without contacting us. That is the standard we hold ourselves to.

Inventory quality

What we refuse to carry.

Sourced or incentivised traffic

Paid pop traffic, bot traffic, incentivised clicks and traffic exchanges. Detection results in removal without notice.

Unowned inventory

Sites where the applicant cannot demonstrate control of the domain and the content.

Cloaked or misrepresented supply

Domain spoofing, app-ads misdeclaration and any attempt to represent one property as another.

Policy-violating content

Content that breaches Google Publisher Policies or Google Publisher Restrictions, including infringing, deceptive and dangerous content.

Invalid traffic and ad quality response

Monitoring

Traffic across the network is monitored for invalid activity. Anomalies at publisher level are investigated before they reach a demand partner’s threshold.

Escalation

Confirmed invalid traffic results in immediate suspension of the affected inventory and a written notice to the publisher setting out what was found.

Creative incidents

Malvertising, forced redirects and auto-playing audio are traced to the buying source and blocked at network level, then reported to the demand partner.

Reporting a problem

Buyers, publishers and readers can report a supply chain or ad quality concern to compliance@akhunsmedia.com. We respond within two business days.

Auditing us

Demand partners and platform reviewers can request our corporate documentation, publisher roster attestation and ads.txt monitoring evidence directly.
