Solutions — Yield

Price floors and yield rules, set by data.

A floor that is too low gives your inventory away. A floor that is too high leaves impressions unfilled. We set floors per ad unit, per geography, per device and per format, then review them against real auction data instead of guessing once and forgetting.

01 — The method

Floors are a dial, not a switch.

We start from your historic clearing prices, segment them, and set unified pricing rules that protect value where demand is deep and stay out of the way where it is thin. Every change is measured on revenue per thousand page views, not on CPM alone, because a higher CPM at half the fill rate is a loss.

Segmented floors

Tier one geographies, mobile versus desktop, above and below the fold, and each format carry different floors. One global number is always wrong somewhere.

Unified pricing rules

Applied inside Ad Manager so header bidding, Open Bidding and Ad Exchange all respect the same price. No partner gets a cheaper route to your inventory.

Continuous review

Floors are revisited on a regular cadence and after any material traffic change. Seasonality, a viral article or a new geography all shift the right number.

Measured on RPM

Revenue per thousand page views is the only number that reflects both price and fill. It is the metric we optimise and the one we report.

Beyond floors

Yield is not only price. Layout density, refresh policy, viewability and format mix all move revenue, often more than a floor adjustment does. We test one variable at a time so we can attribute the result, and we roll back anything that damages session depth or page speed.

Ad refresh, where we use it at all, is bound to genuine user activity and a minimum dwell time, and is disclosed to buyers. Refresh that fires on a timer while a reader is not looking is inventory fraud in slow motion and we do not run it.

Optimisation levers

Price floor calibration
Viewability improvement
Format and size mix
Layout density testing
Activity-bound refresh

02 — What we will not do

Short-term tricks that cost you long-term revenue.

Buyers score supply paths. A publisher who inflates volume with timer refresh, stacked slots or auto-redirect creatives gets bid down permanently, long after the tactic is removed. We optimise in ways that survive scrutiny.

No timer refresh

Refresh without user activity produces impressions nobody saw. It lifts your dashboard and lowers your CPM within a quarter.

No stacked or hidden slots

Every ad we serve is a single, visible, measurable placement. Anything else is an invalid traffic finding waiting to happen.

No forced interaction

Ads that block content, mislead a tap or hijack the back button destroy the reader relationship that generates your revenue in the first place.

Think your floors are wrong?

They usually are. Send us a month of Ad Manager or AdSense data and we will show you where.
